Austria

I first visited Austria for my first job abroad and fell in love with it straight away. I was lucky enough to work in the Austrian Alps and look forward to exploring the country even more in the future. From skiing, good food and gorgeous scenery – Austria is definitely worth a visit and especially if you like the outdoors.

AUSTRIAN ALPS
SALZBURG

Belgium will always have a special place in my heart as I got engaged in the lovely Old Town of Gent. Belgium has some of the most stunning historic old towns in Europe, interesting local delicacies and of course a great beer scene!

I can’t believe I haven’t yet been to Ireland, but it’s definitely on my to-visit list so hopefully I’ll manage to get across soon and see some of their distilleries.

For someone who’s lived in the UK for 8 years now I’m almost ashamed to say I haven’t managed to explore our neighbouring country England that much yet. York, Cotswolds, Bath and Cambridge are definitely on the to-visit list for me.

LONDON

The country of love, snails and cheese is a wonderful destination for a trip and I certainly have a soft spot for the mountains in particular!

PARIS

I’m so glad our friend decided to get married in Lithuania so we had a reason to travel to Lithuania and explore this lovely country.

Norway

I always feel quite a home in Norway, as it is similar in many ways to my home country Sweden. Norway is well worth a trip and I look forward to seeing more of this country in the future.

OSLO

Of course Sweden will always have a special place in my heart as I was born and raised here. I think everyone should visit Sweden at least once and since the summers are warm and inviting, whilst the winters are snowy and cosy there’s something for everyone.

I would’ve never imagined that I would find somewhere that I feel so much at home, as I do in Scotland. Just like Sweden I think everyone should visit Scotland at leats once in their life. Stunning scenery, old castles, friendly people and good whisky – what’s not to love?

LOWLANDS

If you are visiting Scotland for the first time then don’t miss out on Edinburgh. It’s probably my favourite city on earth and it has so much to explore – from climbing to the top of the old volcano Arthur’s Seat, to city shopping, bagpipers performing on the streets and just admiring Edinburgh Castle. There’s also plenty of other destinations nearby for those looking to explore further, but stay in the area.

ISLANDS

The islands of Scotland never disappoint. You might have to travel for hours to reach them, but when you do you are rewarded with stunning views, amazing seafood and island life.

HIGHLANDS

In the highlands of Scotland there’s just so much to see and do as it covers such a large area. From plenty of whisky distilleries to lovely foods, castles and absolutely breathtaking nature.

HIGHLAND WHISKY

In Spain you’ll find lovely foods and plenty of tapas, interesting wines and wonderful coastlines and I look forward to seeing more of this country in the future.

The Netherlands is a country I’ve only really visited recently (although I’ve spent many hours in Schipol Airport) and I can see why it’s such a popular travel destination. For those who love tulips, cheese, beer and interesting architecture, this is a country that you certainly should visit.
