This fabric was gifted to me in exchange for a post & review on Minerva.
This was one of my first times sewing with jersey fabric and had this lovely striped light grey one to work with. I used a zigzag for most of the top at settings 1.5 and 2.5 as per Gertie’s instructions and would highly recommend seeing the instruction video, or at least parts of it as it clears up the construction of the neckline in a great way. The only place that used straight stitch is top stitching as it does not reacquire much stretch and this was also as per the video instructions. I did not use interfacing for the neckline as instructed but think it turned out alright anyways. The fabric really suited the project as well and is really comfortable to wear. I also cropped the pattern parts that make up the lower part of the top by quite a bit so that it is waist length. I cut out a size 10, cup size D-F which worked out great.
