This has been an exciting week for sewing as I now have two new makes to add to my wardrobe!
Since I often get the question to recommend my favourite sewing patterns, I thought I’d put together a little guide here on the blog.
This is my new favourite sewing pattern. So lovely to sew with buttons instead of zipper for a change and I just love how this turned out!
I’ve always thought that 18th century stays are so lovely so I thought “how difficult can it be to make my own?”
When this lovely pattern arrived I decided it would be the perfect match for my red gingham fabric!
When I started working on this dress I was surprised by how fast it all came together. Just a few hours and it was nearly finished
After looking around for inspiration online I figured outlaw to sew a big puffy picnic dress that would be perfect for summer!
It makes me so happy when I find a vintage pattern for a good price AND also for my measurements! My first vintage pattern project ever!
As soon as I saw Angela Claytons video on how she made her pillbox hat I knew I wanted to try it as well. My version is in white and featured my first ever hand embroidery as well.
