I loved the look of this Simplicity 9464 when I spotted it on Etsy so wanted to give it a go with a lovely summer-y floral fabric.

For my 2021 Christmas Eve dress I wanted something simple and classic yet lovely and elegant so chiffon + vintage design it was!

I’ve been seeing the lovely Selkie organza puff dresses all over social media lately and this is my to try at making one myself.

This has been an exciting week for sewing as I now have two new makes to add to my wardrobe!

Since I often get the question to recommend my favourite sewing patterns, I thought I’d put together a little guide here on the blog.

This is my new favourite sewing pattern. So lovely to sew with buttons instead of zipper for a change and I just love how this turned out!

I’ve always thought that 18th century stays are so lovely so I thought “how difficult can it be to make my own?”

When this lovely pattern arrived I decided it would be the perfect match for my red gingham fabric!

When I started working on this dress I was surprised by how fast it all came together. Just a few hours and it was nearly finished

After looking around for inspiration online I figured outlaw to sew a big puffy picnic dress that would be perfect for summer!
